Shaki has also been fined $3,500, if he doesn't pay this fine then his prison sentence will be extended by at least 3 years, he wasn't even aloud to be in court when the trial was taking place he so couldn't even give his side of the story. Hillary Clinton the US Secretary of State has called for his release because his work served both Pakistani and American interest's. Bin Laden's Doctor Helped The CIA Find Him
Pakistan have jailed Bin Laden's doctor (Shaki Afridi) for atleast 30 years because he helped the CIA find him. The doctor ran a fake vaccination programme to find out information about Bin Laden and where he was hiding. The US state department didn't make a specific comment about the doctors sentance but they did say that there was 'no basis' for the charges. Pakistan has said that any country who had a spy working for another country would have done the same thing.
