Gunmen In Nigeria Attack Churches

In Nigeria there have been two attacks on two different churches. In Nigeria's central city of Hol at least two people where killed and many others where injured. due to a suicide bombing right outside the church. According to a witness seconds  after the explosion young Christians started to set up road blocks and where then sent away by the police, these young people where very angry and even tried to stop security personnel from getting to the scene. They where described as 'Angry youths' that have 'gone wild'.

The second attack was in Biu in the Borno state where five gunmen started shooting randomly in to a church from the outside before going in and continuing to shoot at random. They killed a women and injured three other people. Witnesses where scared and said that 'Many people have been killed and wounded'. I think it disgusting that a living and breathing person would do this to another, it's just wrong. No terrorist organisation or person has owned up to these killing so it's still uncertain to why they even did this to such innocent Christian people. I hope you agree with me, have any views? Columbian Troops Jailed For Murder

Four Colombian soldiers have been given a 30 year jail sentence's,while an army major and a lieutenant have been jailed for 50 years. They have been jailed for murdering a mentally disabled man for falsely claiming that he was a rebel to try and earn job benefits. The 26 year old victim (Fair Leonardo Porras) was lured to their town of Ocana in north-eastern Columbia with promises of a job opportunity.

Airborne soldiers board a helicopter in Guerima, in the eastern province of Vichada, eastern plains of Colombia, on March 9, 2011  10 other men are also said to have been lured there and then murdered but these cases are all being discussed separately. The country calls the scam 'false positive' and that it's a 'nationwide phenomenon' personally I think it's disgusting that soldiers are willing to kill innocent people just to make themselves look good..don't you?

Russian Spam Mastermind Is Jailed

Georgiy Avanesov has been jailed for 4 years because he has hacked over 30 million PC's. He was sending out over 3 billion junk mails a day, he even hired other cyber criminals. They attacked websites, advertised fake anti-virus programmes and sent out their own spam and viruses.

By hacking websites and doing work for hire the 27 year-old managed to earn around £80,000 a month. This is a serious amount of money to be earning so just think of how many people he's stolen from and how many people who are now out of pocket and can't even work out how. When the Dutch police gained control of what he did Georgiy tried to stop them from controlling his websites by sending out a web-based attack on the police trying to gain everything back although he failed and was arrested shortly after. Amazing what you can manage to hack into, don't you think?

Bin Laden's Doctor Helped The CIA Find Him

Pakistan have jailed Bin Laden's doctor (Shaki Afridi)  for atleast 30 years because he helped the CIA find him. The doctor ran a fake vaccination programme to find out information about Bin Laden and where he was hiding. The US state department didn't make a specific comment about the doctors sentance but they did say that there was 'no basis' for the charges. Pakistan has said that any country who had a spy working  for another country would have done the same thing.

Shakil Afridi. File photo Shaki has also been fined $3,500, if he doesn't pay this fine then his prison sentence will be extended by at least 3 years, he wasn't even aloud to be in court when the trial was taking place he so couldn't even give his side of the story. Hillary Clinton the US Secretary of State has called for his release because his work served both Pakistani and American interest's. In my opinion I don't think he should have be jailed because he was doing what was best for his country, don't you agree?

Joke Gone To Far?

An 18 year old man from a university in the US killed himself due to a joke that had gone seriously wrong. Dharun Ravi has been given 30 days in prison for secretly filming his room mate Tyler Clementi during a gay encounter. He plastered the video all over the internet, he even tweeted it. Only half a dozen other students saw this video but this still caused Tyler to take his own life. He shouldn't even have been spying on him let alone showing it to people that Tyler knew. Tyler's dad commented that his son was a 'kind and gentle soul' his family are distraught and called the act a 'cold-hearted violation'.

Thousands of people are outraged about what has happened and they believe that Dharun should have gone to prison for 10 years or more. It's been reported that Dharun didn't apologise once for what he has done, not even to Tyler's family. In my opinion this whole thing is so wrong and never should have happend, don't you thnik?

Deadly Earthquake Hits Northern Italy.

A magnitude six earthquake struck northern Italy in the middle of the night. Around 6 people have died due to buildings and debris falling on them. A lot of cultural heritage has been destroyed by the quake, civil protection workers and firefighters are trying to examine the damage to the historical buildings. This has been the worsed earthquake to hit Italy since the L'Aquila earthquake that killed nearly 300 people in 2009.

A rescue worker stands in front of a damage ceramics factory building Sant'Agostino di Ferrara Terrified residents ran into the streets trying to get away. There's even reports that a women was so scared that she died of a heart attack during the quake. This just shows how destructive and scary being there must have been. Around 50 people where injured but none where serious. It's petrifying how horrible and upsetting a natural disaster can be, don't you think?
